The Designer

From an early age, Janine drew inspiration from everything around her: composition in nature, patterns in textiles and the rhythmic tempos of music. This endless curiosity would later become the framework that defines the Jewelluxe brand.

In 1986, taking her passion for precious gemstones - and adventure - Janine moved from Vancouver to California, where she attended the Gemological Institute of America.  Following graduation, she gained experience in wholesale, manufacturing and retail. By 1993, she had opened her storefront in Redondo Beach, California. As awareness of her unique designs grew, her custom jewelry gained credibility - attracting local and celebrity clientele.

Today, Janine continues to share her immense creativity, knowledge and dedication to quality with her online community creating inspired pieces that will surely be passed down from generation to generation.
